Mahalia is an interdisciplinary designer with a background in architectural and digital design as well as performance. Her current research and design work centres around experimenting with combining these disciplines, with a particular focus on exploring how we can craft hybrid experiences existing physically and digitally, that create opportunities for nuanced and visceral moments. In addition, with a keen interest in all that is audio and visual, she performs and experiments with live-coding, creating chaos in the form of algorithmic visuals and music.
